Micah has spent years studying the anatomy, behavior, and beauty of game birds — in the field and at the bench. His work is rooted in technical precision: proper feather lay, accurate posture, natural finish. Every bird that comes to him gets the same level of attention, regardless of species.

He built Feathered Arts from a lifelong passion for the craft, drawn specifically to birds for their complexity and color. No shortcuts. No compromises. That standard hasn't changed since the day he started.

Alyssa brings an artist's eye to every bird she works on. Her approach treats each mount as sculpture — capturing not just anatomy, but the energy and personality of the bird in the moment it was taken.

Her competition record speaks for itself — Texas State Champion in 2024, and North American Champion in 2025. At the top level of the sport, competing against the best taxidermists on the continent, her Green-winged Teal took the title.
